The Southeast chapter of the American Copy Editors Society held its most recent workshop Jan. 25, 2009, at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, S.C.
We had three tracks: Traditional, Digital, and Life Beyond Newspapers. (See sessions.)
Each track offered sessions to help copy editors learn new skills. A session during lunch explored how copy editors might adapt to industry changes.
FEES (covered lunch) were:
